Deborah F. Ching has long been involved with community and civic affairs in the Chinese and Asian American communities. She was affiliated with Chinatown Service Center from 1980-2000, serving as its Executive Director from 1989-2000. In 2000, Ms. Ching was appointed President and CEO of the Los Angeles Women’s Foundation, a foundation whose mission focused on increasing resources and opportunities for women and girls.
